An early C18th French sofa

A gorgeous early C18th walnut sofa in wonderful original condition. This sofa stands on 8 well turned and proportioned walnut legs which still retain their height, it has elegantly shaped wing sides and triple 'hump' back with comfortable 'rake'. We have re-upholstered the sofa in lovely thick antique French linen with good linear 'slub', whilst retaining the original webs on the underside for added authenticity. Seat dimensions: 48ch high x 67cm deep.
