A Wonderful C18th Pyrenees Bench

A Wonderful C18th Pyrenees Mountain Bench in Poplar wood. A very authentic and untouched rustic bench in lovely dry colour and patina. Subtle and primitive decoration with bare construction details make this a very tactile piece which has survived in remarkable condition as a utilitarian item of furniture. Whilst not original to the bench, the later cushions have been made specifically for it and have mellowed down nicely with age and are included if required. Seat dimensions (without cushions); 45 cm high x 63 deep.
