A Pair of early C19th French Satinwood Stools with panelled friezes and reeded legs with Doric capitals. These country house stools are of good scale and when pushed together, they create a large and imposing centre stool/coffee table. All four sides are finished in fine satinwood veneer with the main 'show' front having a convex frieze, flanked by square panels. Of very useful size, these stools could be used to centre a seating configuration, sit at the end of beds, flank a hallway or sit in window bays etc. Seat height without cushion squab; 37cm. Overall dimensions when pushed together; 133cm x 141cm.
