These quality English oak chairs have quirky style in their simplicity and benefit from a pegged and chamfered framework, solid dished seats and could possibly hark from the renowned Robert Thompson (Mouseman) workshop in nearby Kilburn, who furnished the closely linked Ampleforth College. Built to last, these chairs have aquired lovely colour and patination and would create an interesting dining set, even in a sleek modern setting. English, circa 1900.
