An Incredible Midcentury Spanish Centre Table

An outstanding Architect Designed Centre table with 50mm stone top, 1960s work from the Spanish Basque Country. We don't know the creator of this piece but suspect it to be a one off commission, possibly for a particular building or public space. It's design is both stunning and architectural, cleverly transferring all the weight of it's gemstone like mount of the top, directly into the floor. This piece is a very rare find and exemplifies the best in Midcentury Design from a refreshingly different Spanish perspective.
