The unusual proportions of this characterful Cupboard are striking upon first sight with it's higher than normal scale and central leg, which is in itself unusual for a 2 door Buffet! This particular cupboard had resided in Chateau Carrion - Nizas, a vineyard estate in the South France and it's scale most likely referred to it's lofty surroundings. The dry untouched feel of it's original surface are a prize of informal beauty.
