A most unusual C18th provincial French commode of sweet proportions and rustic construction in walnut and chestnut. This concave bombe and serpentine fronted commode in original colour is of rare shape and proportion, retaining original height to feet and amazing escutcheons. The provincial nature of this piece and almost restrained shape, add to its rustic feel. Southern France, mid C18th.
