A special commission 1960s console table

A 1960s French Console or Desk of bespoke construction, the metal base having been tailored to fit the shaped trunk section hardwood top. This individual quality table has been made to showcase the exotic Bubinga hardwood top and features natural shaped edges and movement, all supported on chic splayed leg base with flat stretcher bars. Each leg has an angled fixing plate to accommodate the shaped underside which is the actual tree trunk edge. Whilst simple in appearance, this table is both chic and stylish.
