A rare pair of C19th French 'cube' parquetry 'Semainier' chests. These useful 7 drawer chests have quality oak linings and backs with one having a writing compartment which is concealed by 2 'blind' drawers. Parquetry veneered throughout in 3D 'cube' effect, they bear a signature and date of 1877 and retain an original Parisian paper label to the reverse.
