A Charming Pair of 1940s French Office Bookcases. These Institutional or Office Bookcases are all about proportions and Patina. Whilst rudimentary in Pine construction with early plywood panels, their 'boxy' lines are emphasised with perfect proportions and their dry worn colour and patina lends them an almost Japanese, Wabisabi feel. The result is Formal lines with an informal appearance, perfect for a relaxed interior setting.
