A Monumental Oak Refectory Table
Width: 365cm (143.7")
Height: 73.5cm (28.9")
Depth: 121cm (47.6")
An Exceptional English Arts and Crafts Oak Refectory Table of huge proportions. Crafted in thick quarter sawn English Oak, this table has wonderful design attributes, such as broad 'slab' ends with sledge feet and tapered frieze which support the over sailing cleated top. The colour is both rich and faded with lovely 'dry' patina. The top depth is unusually wide at 121cm and adds to the table's overall super sense of proportion, whilst guaranteeing a good number of chair spaces. Yorkshire, circa 1910.
