A Monumental Elm Refectory Table

A most gorgeous C19th French Elm and Oak Refectory Table of fantastic proportions. The beautiful scale of this 6cm thick, solid elm topped table on massive oak legs cannot be understated. The thickness of timber combined with scale, create a table which is very pleasing to the eye. The dry and previously 'scrubbed' elm top sits beautifully atop the oak frame which has itself, great colour and original skin. The construction is completely solid despite the size, the top having original iron 'cleat' bolts on the underside and the legs being peg jointed. A perfect antique table for a C21st Interior.
