A Directoire Satinwood Commode

A Handsome Directoire Commode in beautifully figured satinwood veneer. This well proportioned commode has a lovely patina, original brassware and marble top. The top drawer has been fashioned to simulate 3 small drawers which are 'banded' throughout, along with the panelled sides, all resting on pleasantly simple and original square tapered legs. French, circa 1800.
