A C19th ‘trunk’ tripod table

A primitive C19th tripod table made in time honoured fashion from a thick trunk section of oak tree with 3 spoke shaved ash legs. These forms of tables and stools have been made for country cottages for many centuries for everyday use and have a charming and characterful feel about them. They have many suitable uses as side tables or stands.
